-  It is prohibited to light fires outside the marked places.

- Take your garbage with you to the next collection spot, without leaving undesirable signs of your presence that contribute to environmental degradation.

- The natural and cultural heritage is an asset for all. Contribute to is preservation and maintenance, and don’t pick plants, disturb animals or take samples.

- Avoid entering or damaging private properties.

- Always use the existing and indicated paths.

- Ensure minimal disturbance.

- Respect the locals, their properties and activities.

- Choose to acquire and enjoy local services, to stimulate the local economy.

- During your stay save water, especially when taking a bath.

- Avoid wasting energy turn down the lights when you leave your room.

- Respect all the signs and traffic rules.

Legal Tourism companies, ecotourism and recreational tourism companies are licensed by Turismo de Portugal office and have paid to operate in tourism sector.

These elements should be publicized legal and acquaintances who engages the services of licensed companies for the purpose of tourism and operate legally in Portugal.
